DR. MIRAN KIM

FACULTY ADVISOR

Dr. MiRan Kim (PhD) is an Associate professor in the School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. She teaches HB105: Service Management, 302: Hospitality Managerial Accounting, and HB 491: Women in Hospitality Business Leadership. Dr. Kim’s research mainly focuses on service quality and customer delight. 

ABBY PECK

PRESIDENT

Abby Peck is a senior studying Hospitality Business with a minor in Information Technology. She is originally from Lexington, KY. She is also the CFO for the Meeting and Events Club and a teacher's assistant for HB 489, HB 409, and HB 337. She is excited for a great year with ESD!​

Yongwoo Nam

VICE PRESIDENT

Yongwoo Nam is a junior from South Korea majoring in hospitality business and minoring in real estate. He is the vice president of the Eta Sigma Delta club for the hospitality association. He chose the hospitality industry cause it is one of the fewest sectors that can not be replaced by AI due to the fact the business we do is all about people and services that cannot be replaced by technology. ​He is excited for this year!

KAYLEE GRIFFIN

Kaylee Griffin is a junior studying Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. She is from South Lyon, MI. Other than Eta Sigma Delta, she is a leader at SALT Company. With her passion in Hospitality Business, she plans to pursue a career in country club and golf resort management in the future.  

KIRA SAROKEN

Kira Saroken is from West Bloomfield, Michigan. She is a junior at MSU studying hospitality business with a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation. She is interested in working in hotel or event management in the future.  In her free time, she loves running, reading, and traveling. ​

​My name is Libby Larkins. I am a junior studying Hospitality Business with a focus in Hotel Management and Events. Along with being in ESD I am also in HLC. I am in Event planner for a local film festival called the Capital City Film Festival. I am very excited for this year and to see what good we can do for our community.

ELIZA STEIN

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Eliza Stein is a Hospitality Business student at Michigan State University, originally from New York City, with a passion for Design and User Experience. She has a background in real estate market analysis, project management, and luxury hospitality, and is proficient in social media management and technical lodging systems.  Eliza has worked as a Mother's Helper and interned at Phokus Research Group, further developing her teamwork, organizational skills, and technical expertise.
